Ashley Hoffar

As the director of the Prelude Choir and First Step Choir, Ashley Hoffar brings 12 years of experience as an Elementary Music Specialist. She also has experience directing Adult and Children’s Church Choirs, as well as musical direction for musical theater programs. Ashley thoroughly enjoys singing with The Virginia Consort Chamber Chorus.

Ashley received her Bachelor of Music in Education from Wright State University and is currently working to complete her M.Ed. at the University of Virginia. She is the recipient of the Golden Apple Award, a prestigious award honoring outstanding teachers from both public and private schools in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area.
